STUDENT COUNCIL
The purpose of Student Council is to give Patrick Henry pupils an opportunity to learn the process of democratic government and to participate in the governing of school activities within the limitations determined by the Board of Education and State Laws.

The Council consists of a Student Body President, Vice President and four other Student Body officers: recording secretary, corresponding secretary, treasurer, artist and photographer, eighth grade class president, and four senators from the eighth, seventh, and sixth grades represent the different grade levels. Elections are held at the close of the school year for the following semester.

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Two students represent each homeroom in the House of Representatives. Meetings are held twice a month during an extended homeroom.

HONOR ROLLS

Citizenship Honor Roll:
No Fails, no U's on 6, 12, and 20 week grades.
Scholastic Honor Roll:
Based on earned grade point average of 3.00-3.49 on 12 and 20 week grades.
Principal's Honor Roll:
Based on earned grade point average of 3.50-4.00 on 12 and 20 week grades. Names displayed on Honor Roll and Reward Assembly after each grading period.

IMPACT
The Impact Program is a student assistance program to help students in need. The program offers assessment, education, support, and referral. The goal of the Impact Program is to build and improve the students' communication, coping, and self-management skills. Impact trained teachers and other facilitators work to enhance the students' self-esteem, confidence and emotional well-being. The program is designed to enhance the educational function of the school.

PATRICK HENRY SPORTS PROGRAMS

Lunch-time Intramural Sports: Includes relays, basketball, volleyball, boomerball and games for which homerooms earn competition points.
Inter-Class Competition: Sports activities between grade levels. Competition held at lunch.
Youth Services: Supervised after-school playground.
