PE Code of Ethics and Student Behavior Expectations
Below are listed the student behavior expectations necessary
for successful participation in PE. These rules are absolutely essential
for your student to be safe, both physically and emotionally. Violations
of these rules will not be tolerated. If your student experiences any
problems with other students, please contact his or her teacher immediately.
Student Expectations
- Punctuality - Students must be in the locker room by the tardy
bell. Students are to report to class and sit-down as quickly as possible
before the 5-minute line-up bell. Any deviation from this is a tardy.
- Uniform - Students are expected to wear Patrick Henry's official
PE uniform during PE. Students are to take this uniform home at the
end of each week (Friday)to wash and bring back the first day of each
week (Monday). Failure to do this is a violation.
- Locker Room - Students are to conduct themselves in a safe
and responsible manner at all times in the locker room! Any unsafe,
dishonest, bullying,or other inappropriate actions will result in the
loss of their locker and/or the locker room privileges.
- Behavior - All students are to follow all the rules all the
time. The safety of Patrick Henry students is of utmost importance.
Dangerous and/or defiant behavior will be considered a serious violation
and will result in equally serious consequences including: loss of locker
use, trash pick-up, detention, parent conference, and suspension.
